Over the weekend American TV network BET launched their brand new UK station at Cafe De Paris in London's West End with a special performance from the one and only Alicia Keys. Of course there were loads of celebs and key industry figures in the place, check out some pics from the event.

Overall it was a heavy event, I'm actually watching BET right now and I have to say this American Gangster programme is proper interesting. Look up a guy called Tookie Williams, big time gangster/nobel peace prize winner.

Looks like you had fun Gee Gee.
I was really excited about the launch of this channel over here after watching it in NY. But oh the disappointment when i actually watch it here. The dated interviews and the re-runs of 106 & park kill me!
The only thing that has impressed me so far is hell date! Why dint they let us see shows like that Keyshia Cole -the way it is things like!! Caaaam on!
