Day 26 Leave Bad Boy
After becoming stars via Diddy's reality TV series "Making The Band," Day26's run at Bad Boy Records has come to an end.
The group has left the label, according to a report from TheBoomBox.com, but say they are still a part of Diddy's extended family.
"Bad Boy is always our family, but we're with Atlantic right now," member Willie Taylor told the site.
Although they became stars on reality television, Day26 are now determined to prove that they have what it takes to make it on pure talent, rather than TV ratings.
"We really want to get people focused on the artistry, on the music," Taylor explained. "I think a lot of people lost it with the entertainment of the show. So now, we really want to show people what we're all about, that we do our thing whether its on stage, in the studio, writing and producing -- we do it all."
Day26 are currently in the studio working on their third group album.
Diddy had previously locked down a distribution deal with Atlantic Records for Bad Boy, but just months ago, he opted to sign with Interscope Records where he'll be releasing his next album, Last Train to Paris, with his new group Dirty Money comprised of himself, former Danity Kane member Dawn Richard and newcomer Kaleena.

Chris Brown On The Wendy Williams Show
I'm sure Chris knew he would win back a lot of fans by making this 'Crawl' song. At first I was kinda anti Chris Brown, I think it was when I seen how bad Rihanna's face was, but after the smoked cleared and I've heard numerous interviews from Chris I did feel sorry for him and believe he has serious issues he needs to deal with.

Maxwell's Black Summer's Night UK Tour
Last week Maxwell was in the country for his first UK tour in 9 years and I was asked by his manager to join the tour, so we did Birmingham, Manchester and London.
A few things I noticed doing this tour is that Maxwell has still kept his old fans but also gained another generation of followers that might not of been old enough to see him first time around, but made damn sure they never missed him this time. All the shows were packed. Check the video below to see how Maxwell done his thing live @ The Hammersmith Apollo in London.

So the launch night was a complete success with a mixture of great people raving in a top class venue to the hottest music and topped off with two heavy live performances from Princess Nyah & Yelitza.
My next night at Penthouse, Birmingham is on Saturday 14th November with a special live performance from the one and only Shola Ama with support from local artist Miss Coco Brown.
