Jennifer Lopez To Quit Music?!

Jennifer Lopez has said she no longer sees it necessary to release new music. She stated in a magazine that “I’m at a point in my life when I just don’t feel the need to put out anything unless I totally, absolutely feel it says what I want to say.” she also added that “Parenthood totally changes your perspective on everything. You don’t come first anymore. There’s somebody else you care more about than yourself.”

I think it's great that she's taken a break from music but not for good! She has an amazing voice and I just love this song which leaked quite a while back...

G Child In Ibiza 2009

Now I've DJ'ed all over the world, but I must say that I'm more excited about this gig then any of the others - I've always wanted to come out here and its finally happened! Mariah Album Playback Session G Child's Thoughts

So I mentioned yesterday that I was heading off into central London for Mariah's new album playback session and from the 5 tracks I heard, only two of them I really liked, the rest thought were very average.

The 2 stand out tracks for me were:

Candy Bling - A nice slow smoothed out tune which had The Dream & Tricky Stewart's sound all over it for those of you who are familiar with their beats. However I can't see this track being a single, but a wicked album track.

I Want To Know What Love Is - This is Mariah's cover version of the 80's Classic originally recorded by Foreigner, this is easily a single and will be a world wide smash!

As for the other tracks I heard, none of them grabbed me at all, in fact some of them actually bored me if I'm honest with you. What we heard was only a few tracks that maybe on the album, but we were told the album is still in the making, so I'm looking forward to hearing more...

David Guetta Featuring Akon!

I know your probably thinking "David Guetta? He's hardly RnB?!" But this new track he's done with Akon is so catchy! It's off his new album which is out on August 24th!

The single came about when they both met at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Swindon. David Guetta and Akon both decided on hiring a studio and they made the track 'Sexy Bitch' right there and then.

The original version is off Jamie Foxx's last album 'Intuition', which was okay! But I wouldn't say its the best album of the year though!
