I did mention a few months ago that Ashanti was gearing up to release her forth studio album 'The Declaration' which is now due out June 3rd (US date) and I played a new track on my radio show from her called 'Body On Me' which features Nelly and Akon. The question is, can she hold her own without Irv Gotti and the rest of the Inc crew, as all of the proposed singles were pulled due to lack of interest.
Anyway the good news is she's done a photo shoot for mens mag 'Maxim' check em out below. 
Have to admit when I heard the news about the pair it was a real shock to the system, but after it sunk in I'm kinda used to the whole thing and I wish them all the best.

This rumor I've been hearing on the news, reading in the papers about Mariah & Nick Cannon getting married... Mariah if this true, why oh why Nick Cannon - come on I know you can do better than that! After he cheated on my future wife Christina Milian, I have no respect for him, thats about as bad as Eric Benet & Halle Berry, what the hell goes through their mind cos this aint just a man thing! Or guys using his tings to think with - its deeper than that!... My oh my, what's going on!!! Could it be as simple as true love????
Another big tune from the one of the most slept on albums!!! I still don't understand why The Dream is being slept on so much, it don't make sense, this guy is true musical genius, the whole album 'Love Hate' is a smash from start to finish, its kind of like a mixture of Prince, R Kelly & Ginuwine all mixed together in a modern day fashion. Go get the album if you haven't already, I know you'll like it.

The boy done good on this one, nice bubbly creative video... This is the first single from Lloyd's forthcoming album 'Lessons In Love' due out in July. So far i've heard 4 tunes from the album and they have all been strong sounding tracks, hopefully you've heard 'Girls Around The Way' which is definitely going to be one of the biggest tracks from album. Last night I had the pleasure of watching Angie Stone perform live to packed out venue in London's Forum (Kentish Town). Now this aint the first time I've seen Angie in fact its my 3rd time and the reason why I try hard to go see her when she's over is because I know she's a true live entertainer with loads of heavy material to showcase and most of all she always does something different and puts a lot of thought into her stage show. If you haven't seen her before, take my word for it, go check her out next time she's over even if you don't know all her songs, its still well worth checking her out...

Hil St Soul is back with a brand new album titled "Black Rose" which will be available in record stores 10th June. For me Hil St Soul released one of the hottest albums in 2006 with "Soulidified" and it seems she is about to create another masterpiece! With tracks such as "Black Rose", "Ghetto", "Sweetest Days" and "Wash Away" available on Hil's official MySpace page this is certainly an album im anticipating.
